At the end of August I showed my prints and paintings in an exhibition in York. I sold 3 of these pieces making £172 which I am donating to VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas). Currently I am fundraising for this charity as part of the International Citizen Service, a government funded programme that gives 18-25 year olds the opportunity to volunteer in a developing country. In July, I had the privilege of working in John Howard's Print Studio in Jubllee Wharf, Penryn, Cornwall. John is a professional printmaker and has taught at many universities and sells his work in exhibitions all over the UK. I was learning how the print studio was run and helping John with his summer school courses.
